I’m originally from the foothills of North Carolina and now live in Washington, DC’s Logan Circle neighborhood. For more than 14 years, I’ve been with History Factory, where I currently serve as Associate Director of Design and lead the video team. My work is driven by a passion for drawing on the past to create meaningful, contemporary experiences for new audiences.
Beyond client projects—whether designing exhibits, developing brand identities, or producing motion graphics—I dedicate time to my creative venture, Centroute Map Company. This passion project merges my love of minimal design and transportation infrastructure, offering prints that celebrate transit systems in a fresh, artistic way. You can explore the collection at Centroute.com, from subway maps to nostalgic nods to Amtrak.
Outside of design, I enjoy exploring the world of craft beer. Along with my wife and partner-in-crime, Libby, I’ve visited more than 220 breweries around the globe, sampling and savoring countless flavors along the way.
